Karmic Payback – Short story

Excerpt: “The police did arrive but so did the ambulance. I was taken to the local police station to give a statement, which took me an hour. In the meanwhile, all the folks involved were taken to the nearest hospital. My ironed white shirt was completely covered in blood. I was told to check on the survivors in the hospital as one of them asked for me. I went straight after.”
